I have a 1973 Celica in my Name . i bought this care a few years ago with the intentions of showing it and enjoying a vintageToyota. How ever since i bought the car on line the owner never told me about the major rust it had in the frame . That issue has been addressed with a replacement frame section . But it was notsupposedto have this kind of problems for the money i spent on this car . I have also found much bondo in the quarters and rockers upon investigating it i found thin aluminum tape and bondo used to make a quick and cheap repairs to make the car look good . Istartedto take the car apart for a complete restoratio, ince i was not able to find all the body parts on the east coast i started to make this car into a little race car so iwouldn'tloose to much of my money . ItActuality has a nice interio, ne of the better ones i have seen . The floors are not bad and the trunk is nice as well . The Majority of the rust issues are in the front rails under the fender, ocker, ront support behind the lights ( i have some replacement parts ie rockers and the filler panels ) The quarters where rusted as well as the outer wheel wells. There are two small holes on the inside of the rockers . I point all this out as i want you to understand that this car needs a lot of work and is border line parts car .If your interested i have the original motor and trans ( Manual )It did run after i installed a new carb .It kills me to sell this car but i find my self needing a bit of extra cash for a newBusiness.Personally i would clip this Celica and add a tube chassis to make it right .It will come with the original 14 inch rims and tires . Its located in Toms River NJ 08755 in case you want to get a better look .I'll post more pics as i need to take them .
