I'm sick of a scammers and dead beats, f you're not a real buyer please stay away from my auction.The Story:I've owned Land Cruisers for 34+years, y first was a 1970 FJ55 named "Nairobi" I've owned every model/series built from 1960-2005. This 2 owner FJ40 (titled in 68) came from a local estate (I bought 3 of his vintage 4x4s) sale with 76K orig miles, wneris retired and used this cruiser to drive his grand kids around Silverton Colorado in the summer time.I was able to meet and speak with the owner which is how I got some of the info below. This is the most original, omplete, actory soft top FJ40 I'vehad in more than10 years.

The Ramsey PTO winch has never been used, heck out thevintage Stromberg hydraulic cylinder (I've never seen one like it) on the tow bar that's plumbed into the brakes for flat towing. The original owners manual, ervice book (shows delivery Jan 15 1968) toolkit, ack, riginal ignition key etc. are all present and it has 4 brand new Toyo tires on factory wheels. The body is perfect, here is not a single dent on this cruiser, ven the bumper is straight, ail gate and floorsare perfect also. The original column shifter is tight as are the tumblers in the ignition, he parking brake,vacuum shift on the fly4x4, igh/low works as does pretty much everything else. After examining and driving it I do not question the odometer for a second.

The big 6starts instantly, dles quiet, o smoke, uns cool, reat power, teers tight, hifts perfect, racks down the highwaydead onat 60mph and puts a big "SE" grin on my faceevery time I driveit. Everything looks very correct under the hood, actory air cleaner, isan carb etc and a brand new alternator. The rust issues with these rigs are well documented and this one is no exception but not nearly as bad as most I come across. That is dirt/mud,on the floor boards in the pictures not rust, here's not a single dent on the skid plate which is unheard of here in Colorado.

Please note, hen I look at any vintage FJ40 I research by VIN# to see what year it was built and how many were imported. This Land Cruiser was manufactured in September 1967, as first sold and titled in January 1968. There werequite a fewchanges and upgradesin the1968 model over previous models. This FJ40 is titled as and equipped as a 1968 model FJ40, Bay will not let me changethe yearwithout cancelling the auction and starting from scratch.
