Car description |
---|
I'm selling my 1993 Toyota Previa All-trac. I'm the 2nd owner and have owned it for the past 16 years. It's been the most reliable car I've ever owned, ut is showing it's age. It still runs and drives and is an economical winter car and cheap transportation.
The good:
ball joints and tie rod ends were replaced last fall, ood battery, lways starts and runs. Factory radio/cassette with factory premium sound still works. Heater works, oes NOT burn oil excessively. If you are familiar with Previas, ou know it's not unusual to get 3-400,000 thousand miles out of these engines. Factory clock, ront and rear wipers, ights, ower windows, ocks, ear window defrost, ll works. exhaust system in good shape. Has the swivel captains chair middle seats. Seats 7 passengers.
The bad: rust out on front and rear fenders, ole in right front, atches on rear fenders. Frame structure is solid but some rust out in rockers. tires are dry rotted, ave some tread but should be replace before winter. Some rattles and driveline noises typical of an old car, ut goes down the road straight and tight. Brakes ok but do have some shimmy. Some interior stains, ir conditioning does NOT work. Some burning oil smell, ngine does not burn excessive oil but valve cover gasket should be changed as oil drips onto exhaust. Common with these old Previas. I have changed the distributor O-ring, ut haven't got around to the valve cover. There may be other minor leaks typical of old cars, othing major. It is not a perfect vehicle with a starting bid of $600, ut I drive it daily. 257,201 miles, ay increase as I am still driving it.
Starting bid, 600. Well below blue book, o reserve!
Note: The light illuminated on the instrument cluster is the door open light. The Check Engine light is NOT illuminated.
