1985 Toyota FJ60 Landcruiser
37K Original Miles!!!
Three Owners
How many FJ60's can be left in the world with this low mileage and great condition!
There is a lot of history and description of the truck from the previous owner which I've listed below under "Previous Owner Advertisement Notes". In addition, 've done the following:
Tires replaced November 2013 (2K miles ago) with BFG All Terrain 33-1250R. Pulled head and cleaned all upper engine, esurfaced mating surfaces, djusted valves, eassembled with new gaskets. Installed new fan clutch and belts. Checked A/C and recharge. Replaced Temperature sensor and calibrated gauge. There is a small surface rust area below the rear glass seal (see picture). There is a small dent on passenger side rear top (see picture, nd a small depression at the left/center of the lift gate (couldn't get a picture to turn out for that). As the previous owner mentioned the cargo area carpet is kind of frayed, o holes just worn. Also, he vinyl covering on the wheel wells in the cargo area has some wear. Nothing major on the carpet/wheel well but could be easily replaced to make it perfect. I had the previous owner wire brush and recite the undercarriage before I took delivery.
You'll note an overhead display and a VHS custom player box in the rear installed by the previous owner. The VHS box is easily removed, hich I've always had removed. I would think you could easily put a DVD player in it's place as the connections are standard leading to the display.

This 1985 FJ60 is an original documented 32k mile truck. I have been the 2nd owner since 1999 when I purchased it from the original owner's son (since she was in her 80's) with 26k on the odometer. I have not driven it much as I was trying to build the ultimate 60 with out destroying or ruining the overall beauty of the truck.

I have repaired all rust found on vehicle which was limited to behind three of the factory mud guards, ocations fl, l, nd rr. The largest hole being the size of a half dollar. Paint was matched to factory by professional body shop. All 4 mud guards were replaced with NOS parts. While body work was being done, gutted the entire interior minus dash, indows and head liner. Removed front inner fenders and front valance panel, leaned off rust proofing on front inner and rear inner wheel wells, emoved all doors and tail gate, aped vehicle off using natural lower body lines above rockers along fenders, rimming out door openings including tail gate area half way up posts and bed lined all areas mentioned above including the entire floor and inner quarter panels, eaving all factory drains open for water run off. Doors and tail gate were also lined accordingly. I installed all new plastic hardware that trim is held on with screws, nd replaced front bumper corners with NOS parts. The vehicles interior is in very good condition, he rear cargo area shows moderate signs of wear, t is 21 years old. Glass is in very good condition, he driver side door glass was broken by would be thieves, ut was replaced with a NOS window from Toyota, hipped directly from Japan. I have a folder filled with repair slips that the previous owner kept with the original window sticker, wners manual, ealer/customer build sheet, nd price paid for. The motor will be removed and resealed before sale, eals have started to leak from non use which is not uncommon. Vehicle has not seen a winter in 6 years and has been stored inside a climate controlled building since, ostly was driven in summer fall during vacations. A/C was converted just this year to 134A due to low pressure.
