Car description

1987 Toyota Tercel DLX Wagon 2wd 5 speed. Burgundy paint and grey cloth interior (Jesse's car from Breaking Bad except 2wd). Exterior is in very nice condition for its age, as expected door dings and stone chips for its age and a scratch on the hood. Original paint, ero rust and no corrosion. Body is straight, nd all lenses are in good condition. This car is solid inside and out. No funky odors :-) All glass is good, riginal. Interior is in very goodconditionwith the exception of the drivers side seat where the cloth has worn through from driver entering and exiting the car. Wheels are original withoriginal hubcaps and trim rings. Car has power steering, ower brakes, ilt steering wheel, plit fold down rear seat, railer hitch, nd XM Roady2. As you can see from the photos the engine/transaxle and engine compartment is very clean. This car is in VERY niceoriginalcondition. I am the third owner and it was purchased new from Airport Toyota in AL in 1987 (paperwork included). What I have done to the car is: new CV axles both sides, nd new spindle nuts. Costco 100 month warranty battery. New front brake rotors, new front brake pads, nd new front brake hardware. New rear brake shoes, nd new rear brake hardware. Full tuneup (distributor cap, otor, park plug wires, park plugs, cv valve, uel filter, nd air filter). New EGR valve and gasket. New gas cap. Oil and filter change. New wiper blades. Compression test was done, ood on all 4 cylinders.Work done by previous owner: timing belt replaced (149,753 miles); front crank oil seal replaced same time as timing beltWhat needs to be done (to the best of my knowledge):carburetor rebuild; possible choke pull off replacement; clutch is soft; gasgauge works but is intermittent; brakes need to be bled; 4 tires (fronts are bald, ack are getting there).Car starts and runs but requires the needed work to be done to it before car isdrivable.Original owners became ill and sold it to their son. The son passed away and his wife sold it to me after he passed. I am selling this car because I do not have the time nor the equipment to finish the work that was begun to bring it back to solid and dependable condition. I really wish I had the time and the proper equipment to do the work as I think this car is beautiful. Sold without warranties or guarantees.
