1979 Toyota Pickup Base Standard Cab Pickup 20R engine

1979 Toyota long bed pickup with original California emissions system. Runs and driven semi-regularly for many years, ostly dump runs, rips to the lumber yard, nd as a back-up vehicle. I am the third owner,bought it from a friend, ho bought it from her friend. It has been in Oregon for many years and has always passed the emissions test here.It has not been a primary vehicle since the original owner had it about 25 years ago.Runs and drives okay, retty much the same for the 10+ years I've had it, eaking clutch fluid (probably the slave cylinder), hat just started and I have not changed it. Oil changes every 3000-4000 miles for about the last 25 years, t least, nd tune-ups, rakes, oltage regulator, tc., s needed. You have to pump the gas several times to start it if the truck has been sitting for more than a few days, t has been that way for at least 25 years. I don't know why. If you're driving it daily it starts right up. Has a rather loud exhaust leak.The front end feels okay to me. I can let go of the wheel on a flat street and it tracks pretty straight. No shaking. Stays pretty straight when braking, oo.It does "sputter" randomly, t was suggested to me that that may be from the ethanol blend we get here in the summer, have no idea if that is what causes it. I put some gas treatment in there sometimes and that does seem to help, ut it could be a coincidence. It has a carburetor and I don't know anything about them.I am not a mechanic and am just posting my observations.There is a hidden switch in the cab that can prevent it from starting, ort of a do-it-yourself anti-theft device.It was painted green when I got it, ut that is not original and it is very dull. The brown paint spots are Rustoleum primer.Many small things need attention, assenger window is off the track (currently held up with Gorilla Tape),passengerdoor onlyopensfrom outside, ne tailgate latch is bent, hifter boot is duct taped, adio (AM only) quit 10 years ago, here is a dash light out, eat needs recovering, ittle emblem came off the shift knob (I have it), indshield wipers occasionally jump off to the left and overshoot the windshield, ouple of the light lenses are taped, he high beam switch has just started to get fussy, tc.The body is pretty straight, o wrecks that I know of, ut it originally came from the coast, nd so has rust, ost of it in the bed, ome goes clear through.To the best of my knowledge the odometer has only turned over once. The odometer does not have a "hundred thousands" dial, ut I was told when I bought it that it had only turned over once. It's only been driven 23408 miles since 6/29/1996, nd currently reads *42308. (I have some oldreceipts that came with it).There is a trailer hitch and wiring, ut I have no knowledge of it ever pulling anything.I've never sold a vehicle on ebay before and know nothing about shipping one.
