This is a 1972 Suzuki LJ 20 Brute some may call it an early Samurai but that is actually not correct the LJ 10 ( LJ stands for little jeep ) was the first of the Suzuki jeeps to be imported then came the amazing LJ 20 which was a true upgrade to say the least it sports a meaty 32 horse power 2 Stroke engine which are virtually indestructible it is backed by a 4 speed Manual transmission and fully functioning transfer case to allow in and out 2x4 or 4x4 with hi and low gear ranges, This was the first true 4x4 to hit the Mini Car Market in any country, the little jeep will run hwy speeds of 51 MPH and get about 45 to 50 miles to the gallon, it has its own self mixing oil injection system that sends oil straight to the lower bearings really an awesome display of 2 stroke engineering this engine will run flawlessly in all most any environment including straight up or down a mountain which is what these were known for cause at the dry wieght of less that 1200 lbs and a size of 4 foot x 8 foot they will literally go any where. This particular Lj truly runs out amazing fires right up and can drive it anywhere your heart desires, I personally rebuilt the braking system and preformed a disk brake conversion on the front end using all late model Samurai Parts I had the Carburetor professionally rebuilt and switched to the wheels over to stock Samurai wagon style wheels and installed rear Suzuki tracker seats as front seats the size is near prefect and it keeps it all in the Suzuki family I also have the Original seats and top with doors that someone could redo and use again if so desired the parts jeep has a really good drive train and frame but body wise is pretty much gone jeep is Titled in North Carolina in my name and clean no title for the parts Jeep it was registered in North Carolina as well, all this goes as a package deal unless i see that i can not sell and then i will consider selling parts Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding I am willing to provide any Pictures one would want just ask. I am also willing to help with shipping arrangements but any and all costs will be buyers responsibility deposit will be required with in 3 days close of auction with remainder due in cash or cashiers check at time of pick up. Thanks for looking and have a Blessed Day
