This auction is for a 1992 Suzuki Cappuccino. The car is currently in Japan and is 100% legally importable in the US and Canada.
The final price of the auction will include FREE Ro-Ro shipping to any Ro-Ro capable port in North America or Europe! Everything is explained in detail in the "Shipping" section of the description. Other destinations than North America and Europe are possible but please contact us before to make sure it applies for the free shipping.
No reserve price set for this car... If it sells for 3300$, it will ship for this price. No extra fees on our side (you will however have to pay broker fees/port fees/taxes to import it in your country. More on that further down in the description.)

DESCRIPTION:
181000km on the clock (odometer rolled once). This is a project car. The car lacks power, most noticeably over 4000rpm... It still drives ok, but it also smokes quite a bit (white smoke). My guess is that cylinder sleeves need to be changed... Valve have been checked and are not bent, but there is play with the cylinders.This is pretty much an ideal candidate for an engine swap.Other than that it shifts well, brakes well... etc. Just a quite major engine problem that won't fix itself for sure :)The body looks good, but due to some bad storage (most likely on grass), half of the car has had some rust issues on the under carriage. This is the left half of the car. Driver side looks good, but the passenger side had noticeable rust that has been filed with some sort of pate. It could stay that way, but ideally it would need some attention there. Please watch the video to see how it currently looks like.Some rust is also visible near the passenger door hinges (pictured).The car appears to have been repainted and was originally red.
Interior looks pretty good, but minor crack is visible on the dashboard.
The car comes with a working LSD, which is a fairly rare sight with Cappuccinos. The LSD works very well and is a quite valuable option.

The car is currently in Japan and will ship from the port of Kobe.
If you don't know Ro-Ro shipping, it's simply the most common way to ship cars around the world. Special ships are used for this, converted into gigantic floating parking lots filled with cars. Not all ports can receive and accept Ro-Ro, but most do. If you are not sure if your local port accepts it, just contact me and I will look into it for you.
You will have to import the car yourself in your country. It is easily importable in the US and Canada, though people living in California might have problems registering it due to state laws being a lot more strigent than elsewhere in the country. No problem for any other state. If you live in Europe or anywhere else, please check before bidding that the car is fully importable, as your country might have different restrictions for imports based on how old the car is. I know it is no problem in countries like Holland, Germany, or the UK, but it's still better to check before doing anything as I don't know all the import regulations of all the countries.
Overall, we are not responsible for the importation in your country, but we'll be happy to help if needed. We are very much used to ship cars to the US and we are very familiar with the import process there.
Paperwork of the car (original title, bill of sale, certificate of exportation...etc) along with the Bill of Lading (paper needed to take delivery of the car at your local port) will be shipped to you via express mail, 1 week to 10 days after the ship leaves Japan. This is standard procedure, the Bill of Lading is only created by the shipping company around this time.
Obviously your port may charge you extra fees for unloading the vehicle and you will have to pay import taxes. On the other hand, all the costs associated with the car leaving Japan are included in the final auction price. If you're in the US, expect to pay around $300 in broker fees and about just as much again in other taxes/fees. So $600 or so for the car to be ready to register at your local DMV. Keep in mind it's just an estimate, but that's about it.

A $500 paypal deposit is required within 48-hours of the end of the auction. The rest of the payment will be made via bank transfert to Amagasaki Motor.
