Suzuki LJ20V Hard Top, Running, Good Condition, Owned for about 40 years!

1972 Suzuki LJ20V Brute, ard Top, imny,4×4, Great Off-Road Fun Vehicle!

I have owned this fantastic little vehicle since the early '70s but now I must let it go as it is no longer being used for what it was designed for (not at all, ctually). Which is off-roading and that is what I did a lot of with it. (Thelast picture is from a few years ago when I was crossing a creek up in the Ozarks. All the rest of the pictures are current. The dog is not included!)

The thing runs great. And it has been extremely reliable. In the over 40 years I have owned it, have had only 3 significant failures -- a wheel bearing, he water pump, nd one reed valve. However, there is now some rust that I have recently made repairs to. Rust spots were wire-brushed and then coated with "Rust Bullet". The only other somewhat annoying problem that I can think of is the fact that the brakes need to be bled of air periodically. Not sure of what the problem is here. Yes, he seat covers need repair. And the second muffler is missing.

It is essentially all stock except that the fuel pump was replaced with an electric version. The original seemed to not pump as much as it should, o was replaced. I have the parts for one mirror that is used but, believe, alvageable. The additional side lights are mostly in a box (see picture) but will go with it (These lights were a USA add-on, ot mentioned in the official Suzuki parts book). The vehicle needs final prep and painting but I don't have the tools and talent for that job.

The title is in my name, ree and clear, nd the numbers match the vehicle.

I have no means of shipping so arrangements for shipping would be up to the buyer (I will help however I can). I am told that it can be loaded in the back of a Pickup Truck but I have not tried it.
