You are viewing a very nice example of the 1992 Subaru Sambar! This Sambar has been 100% legally imported from Japan and is sold with a clean & clear North Carolina title/registration. It is 100% street legal, registered and insured. Recently passed NC State Inspection. This truck was a graded 4/5 in Japan when we imported it earlier this year, which is generally as high as a minitruck gets in the Japanese export grading system. A fun fact about this truck is that it is a Japanese Agricultural Cooperatives (JA) Farmers Union-specification as hinted by the front and rear JA emblem and decal. I've personally enjoyed driving this truck for over 1000km since it's arrival and I've had absolutely no issues at all. It has been always reliable and truly a pleasure to drive! Easily maintains 55-60mph much more easily than a comparable 4WD minitruck. It has clearly been well maintained and is ready to provide you with a fun and unique driving experience!
Japanese VIN: KS3-052238 (titled and insured under the VIN with no issues, and also validated by a NC state official VIN inspection report which I have.)
Mileage: 72,294km (44,921 miles) 6-digit odometer & verified mileage.
Engine: EN07 658cc 4-Cylinder
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Driveline: Rear Wheel Drive (2WD)
Bed Size: 75" length / 54" wide
Overall this Sambar presents very well and is a cut above the average JDM minitruck you'll see stateside. It is completely stock with no modifications. There is absolutely no structural rust on the body or the frame. The bed is very clean with no rust spots or major wear. A couple of cosmetic imperfections are noted - small repaired scrape on the drivers door, minor scrape on the passengers side dashboard, and a few tiny dings & scratches on the exterior as expected of a 28 year old utility vehicle.
This Sambar runs and drives great. Starts up quickly every time! Shifts through the 5-speed manual transmission with ease and no pop-outs or grinds. Mechanically she appears to be in great shape with the only known imperfection being the steering wheel is not perfectly straight when driving, however the truck drives very straight even with no hands on the wheel and doesn't pull to either side.
This truck is ready for a new owner and is sure to treat you well! We welcome any additional questions you may have. Feel free to message us here. We can also help you with securing auto-transport to anywhere in the USA at a reasonable price. Contact us for a shipping quote. Payment via cash, wire transfer or cashiers check only! Full payment is due within 7 days of auction ending. Located near Lexington, North Carolina. Thanks for looking!!
This vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty.
