I have a lifted, very clean 1981 Subaru GL in great condition for sale. It runs and drives great! I'd love to keep but we have a new baby so we are downsizing our "fun" vehicle collection. It's a four speed manual with true 4x4 high/low range that works perfect. Has only 77,800 miles. No major rust underneath; undercarriage is in great condition. It has a custom 3" lift in the front and a 2" lift in the back (it looks level). I had it's carburetor rebuilt professionally last year. It gets good gas mileage for an older car. It has new front brake assemblies, a new alternator, a new right side CV axle, new radiator and gas caps, a new fuel pump and radiator fan wiring to keep fans on when running for optimal car temperature. It has the stock 3rd headlight that works and blinks and five rare upgraded 4 lug Peugeot wheels with two new front tires. Plus a full sized Peugeot spare and a roof basket. It also comes with the original doughnut tire that fits in the engine bay under the hood for fun. I have the GL badges, original AC pump (needs recharging), original alternator, original working fuel pump, original CV axle and original front brake calipers as well. I have all the original paperwork and original manuals. I'm 3rd owner, the previous owner only had it sitting in a garage for a short while. It lived on an apple orchard with the first owner most of it's life. We only (gently) used it as a fun off road vehicle, so it's reg as non op. Everything is paid and up to date on it, no fees. We have an undated one day moving permit from DMV for California and clear title in hand in my name. This car is a little tank and can get you up any mountain, in any terrain.
