1978 Subaru BRAT

Up for sale I have a 1978 SubaruBrat. I swapped gauge cluster and do not know the original mileage. It is located in Southern California (San Diego). What was supposed to be a freshening up turned into a partial restoration. I stripped the car to bare metal, rimed the vehicle, nd had it professionally painted with a single stage GM color code white paint. The bed and interior floor were sprayed with Raptor Liner spray in bed liner. I had 13" aftermarket original bolt pattern wheels powder coated black and real stainless bolts installed with brand new stock size tires from Discount Tire that are still under warranty with only a couple hundred miles on them. The seats are Blue Honda S2000 seats that use original seat mounts so stock seats can be reinstalled. The original dash was repaired with epoxy has been recovered in blue vinyl. It has a high topper roll bar and I have a high topper shell for it as well. The rear seats and belts are in nice condition complete with covers for them. The fuse block had been upgraded to ATC style fuses. It runs, rives, tops, nd steers good. The interior and exterior is a collection of the best pieces of 5bratsI have purchased over the years and with the help of many members on this board.

That being said the vehicle does need some things to be 100%. The passenger side CV boot is torn, have a new complete CVs that will be included with the sale.The front facia is off a single headlight DL model because the GL quad light facias were all too beat up, t too was bed lined to prevent rock chips because I was not going to run a front bumper. The bumpers, ront and rear, re not installed, ut I have them and the correct trim. I had hoped to get them re chromed but never got around to it. I have a push bumper included as well. The tail gate was the only area that I did not get rust free before paint, t was treated and the paint hasn't bubbled in 2 years but it may later. The choke does not always kick on and it dies when first started sometimes. The only pieces I am missing is the interior trim that goes behind the door latches and the new windshield gasket does not have the chrome trim inserted. The hood release handle broke, have a new one, ut currently vise grips (includedJ) open the hood release cable. I have several crates of parts that go with the vehicle.
