Car description |

1962 Studebaker Hawk GT: I am representing the family of the former owner. He was aStudebaker lover, and he loved well preserved original cars. He purchased this GT back in 2007 as a claimed 27,607 original mile car.Evidence suggest the current owner was the third owner. This first being in California (California Blake Plate ), the second in Kingman Arizona, and then to the currently family in 2007.The odometer is now displaying 28495 what we believe to be original miles.
Well Optioned from the factory with air conditionin, 225 horsepower 289 and an automatic transmission this Hawk runs and drives very nicley. We have just rebuilt the master cylinder and the brakes work well.
Condition report:
Body: There is a scrape in the rear quarter panel as well as door. The rear bumper is slightly pushed in on the drivers rear. There is little to no damage to the body from this impact. The bumper has a scratch. The paint appear original, and shines up very nicely. The chrome and stainless are good.
Chassis: No rust and original
Engine and Transmission: Work as designed. Slight smoke on start up. There is an auxiliary electric fan that has been added. The temp sticks right at the 160 mark when driving in traffic.
Interior: Excellent original condition including the seats carpet headliner and dash.
Have a full Google Gallery with about 90 pics and a couple of videos of this Hawk. Please text me your email address and I will send you and invite. My number is 602-908-9267.
Please call me to ask any questions, make an appointment to see it. The car is in my Shop in Scottsdale Air park in Scottsdale Arizona.
