Car description |
---|
1962 Studebaker Hawk, Riviera Blue. Extensive owner-supplied history from Beverly Hills dealership forward. Engine rebuilt to R2 spec (no supercharger) sometime late 90s. Runs well. Sits on BF Goodrich P205/70R15 tires on new chromed steel rims (first photo), but original wheels will also ship with the car (shown in the other photos). PLEASE NOTE: Mileage in the listing is a complete guess - odometer shows 00534.2 - I cannot warrant the mileage or the speedometer's functionality.
Nice original condition with a few flaws; 1) fender dent on the driver's side, looks like someone hit it and made aripple; 2) one penetration spot passenger side, which I started to mend - about a 1-inch repair spot yet to be finished/painted; 3) the chrome cover plate on the back deck is mounted with black-headed sheet-metal screws, rather than the original mounts.
This is a great original car, ready for either a full restoration, or spit-and-polish daily driver. Zero rust on the bottom side, as it lived its life in CA before I shipped to Central MN. I can deliver up to 200 miles for shipping or final destination. Price reflects the flaws noted above, and you can finish what I started, but no longer have time or room to tackle.
