51 Studebaker "Bullet Nose" Champion Starlite Coupe
This is more than a "Barn Find" it is the most complete un-molested car of it's age I have ever seen.
I ran a magnet over the body and found nothing but metal. There are literally no dents on the body at all. The Chrome will clean up to driver quality. The interior is in need of complete TLC, rust on the floor boards and slight spots on the front lower rear fenders, seat frames are there as are the window regulators, gauges, ignition switch and three on the tree. The rear glass pieces are in great shape with no need to replace for a daily driver.
Things that appear original and still there looking good:
Engine "that is free and turns overâ€, Oil Bath Air Cleaner, Starter, Generator, Carburetor, Fan, Radiator, Engine heat sender, Distributor, Plug Wire Cover, Regulator, Fuel Pump, Drive train, Tags are still on the the Carb & Rear end. Original Dash Mounted Mirror, Heater, Blower and the key for the ignition, doors and trunk, the two grille pieces are in pristine shape with no breaks or pieces missing plus a spare wheel and old tire in the trunk, the doors, hood and trunk open and close as they should. Horn relay, Wiper arms, Spacer for behind the front & rear Bumpers. Rear Seat ash trays. Rear Tail light lenses, Front turn indicator lenses. The engine rolls over and appears to have been rebuilt before being parked. Missing 1 hub cap, 1 bumper guard, the chrome pieces on the bottom front of the hood are missing and I think a bezel around the dash cluster.
A CLEAR NM TITLE and 4 Brand new radial tires (zero miles).
