This car looks like a well maintained driver from the early 1960's. It is not a museum piece and the buyer should not expect to compete with concours de elegance shows but it is well done and a very good driving automobile. There is little possibility that a commercial restorer could come anywhere close to the price that this car will sell at. The theme of this restoration was to maintain as much of the original appearance while updating to make it reliable and safe. On this GT Hawk to help reduce the chance of vapor lock, an Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor with 1/2" riser and vapor/fuel return line and a electric radiator fan was installed. Additionally, it was updated with a dual master cylinder and front disc brakes. The exhaust are Flow Master mufflers and the wheels are real wire spokes (the original wheels with an excellent set of tires are also included. It has an underdash air conditioner by Southern Air.
