This 1937 Dictator Coupe Deluxe was purchased new by my great uncle and driven sparingly until he passed away in 1960. At that time, my father bought it and put it into storage with about 48K miles. Although it sat idle, he dutifully sprayed oil in each cylinder yearly. I acquired this classic in 2008 and it has been stored in my dry aircraft hangar in Bigfork, Montana since. Clear Montana title. In 2010 I bought a treasure trove of parts from a gentlemen who had restored a 1937 Studebaker to stock but then decided to hotrod his car. These parts are not installed but are all included. With this package, I obtained an entire running drive train to include running engine, rare optional overdrive transmission, matching rear axle for overdrive tranny, new exhaust system, reconditioned radiator, powder coated original wheels, reproduction vintage tires, 2 extra wheels with tires, reconditioned gas tank, new shocks, an excellent correct straight spare frame and boxes and boxes of additional spare parts...generators, another transmission, a non running additional motor and lots more too countless to list. Original interior. Repainted original color in late 50s. This Studie is a renown classic and the last year of the Dictator model. Very collectable. Currently, I consider this vehicle to be rolling stock, with a lot of valuable parts for restoration. This coupe is the more desirable Model 6A with independent front suspension.
