1964 Studebaker DaytonaFour Door - V8 259 or 289 - not sure which oneAutomatic Transmission
California car with a minimal amount of rust. Rear passenger door has some scrape damage, the bumpers are beat to hell but the body is very straight. The interior is mostly shot, although the seats looks pretty good.
As far as the mechanics go, it starts and stops and steers without issue. I've only driven it around the block a couple times and I hooked the fuel line up to a clean gas source, avoiding whatever sludge may be in the fuel tank. I've had a handful of Studebaker's in the past and as far as they go, this one is pretty sweet.
This car can be cleaned, flushed, tuned-up and rode around in for the summer or for the discerning collector, this car is a prime candidate for a restoration. Historically significant and rare, this Studebaker is a complete sleeper. Get it while it's hot.
NOTE: The key I have opens the doors and trunk but does not turn the ignition. The car is currently wired to start without a key and you can see this in the video.
This car has been in storage for the last 20 years and is out of the DMV system.
