1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk, highly customized. Sits on an extended GM G-body frame (1979 Chevy Malibu). a 350 GM V8 crate engine from Jegs with a rebuilt 350 automatic transmission. Has 10-bolt GM rear end, power steering, power brakes (front disc, rear finned drum), steering column, front suspension that are all GM G-body style. This is not a show car. It will need body work and paint. (It was recently painted but was a bad job.) It also needs some some trimwork. (We paid a local place to do some re-chroming and we were unhappy with the results; see photos.) AC has a slow leak in it; we typically refill with a can of refrigerant every month or so. Having said that, it is a unique car that gets a lot of attention as it is; with some work, this could be a really nice street rod. It is nice to go to a car show and show up in something not made by the big three companies! All of the chrome and stainless steel trim is original or new; the only part that is not is the plastic trim that you can see between the red and white. Has approximately 1000 miles on the car after restoration, which at the time included new:American Racing 15" wheelsBF Goodrich tires (215/70R15)Serpentine belt systemHEI ignitionFront suspension and brake partsFuel tankWindow vent rubber and door slidesVintage Air underdash AC unit/GM compressorAftermarket gauges (Equus and American racing) black face, white needleChrome transmission pan and dust coverCustom made interior (seats, vinyl headliner, padded dash)Pioneer radio with CD and USB driveComplete aftermarket wiring harness with newer style fusesHeadersDual exhaustPlease let us know if you have any questions......Buyer must arrange for pick-up
