1952 Studebaker Champion Regal Convertible. Super rare. One of 1,575 produced in 1952. Came from a large estate collection. Was restored in the late 90's-2003. Car will come with all of the build receipts totalling over $45k at the time. This is a total custom build featuring bright yellow paint, custom red leather interior, and a white power convertible top. The engine is a Studebaker flathead-6 (possibly original) upgraded with dual carburetors and dressed in chrome accessories from Edmunds Speedshop. It has undergone a 12V conversion and also has an aluminum radiator and a custom single exhast feeding two chrome exhaust tips out the back. The transmission is a 3-on-the-tree manual with overdrive (again possibly original).
There is alot of custom touches on the car such as dual door poppers, dummy lake pipes, dummy dual spotlights, louvered hood, custom grille, and custom frenched taillights from a 1956 Buick. Even the trunk has been fully upholstered in red. All of the chrome is spotless.
The only issues are two blemishes in the paint. There is a spot behind the drivers door that has cracked in the paint and one spot on the driver's side of the hood where a shallow dent cracked as well. (see pics) It is a shame about those two spots because the paint really is a 10 out of 10 everywhere else on the car.
The car has been fully gone through with a new clutch and battery and a full brake job with a new master cylinder. The overdrive seal and reverse lockout gasket have also been replaced. It starts right up and runs and drives great. The power top works as well.
Car comes with all of the build receipts and historical documents as well as the custom leather convertible top boot.
