1953 Studebaker Pickup $28,500
I am posting this ad for a friend. 1953? 2R6 Studebaker pickup. This minty freshbuild was just finished. It has never been shown at a car showor any other event. The Studebaker sits on a 1999 Chevy Shortbed pickup. The engine is a 2005 4.3 engine with a 460Ltransmission. The engine and transmission has never beenseparated. The original computer has been updated for thechanges during the build. The gages are all matching Dolphingages. The red interior is a high grade of vinyl with a tuck androll design with matching carpet. Vintage heating and airconditioner has been installed for the seasons. D.O.T approvedtinted glass. When I purchased the body there was no paint onit, so I wanted it to look like it had been sitting in a field since1953 and the body has weathered naturally. I painted with afour step process to achieve that look. All the chrome has beenredone triple plated. The truck sits on new tires with moon hubcaps. The underneath of this truck has been painted and ordetailed with new disc and drum brakes. The gas tank has beenremoved from the interior of the cab and the original 1999Chevy gas tank was used and the fill nozzle is located in the bedof the truck inside the oil canister.
