One 1962 Studebaker Champ. I've got too many projects, and unfortunately I have to let something go. Selling for restore or parts. This is a raretruck.I did some of thebrake work and completely replaced the front brake components and rebuilt brake master cylinder thenstarted on the rear brakes before I got distracted by other projects, and ran out of time and money for this one. Mileage showing on odometer is 08135,(most likely to be 108,135 but can't verify). The previous owner said that the truck was running when parked over 25 years ago.The engine is frozen up. Needs rustedfreeze plugs replaced. I have replacement freeze plugs that willgo with the truck. I believe the original 289 engine has been replaced by a 259 Studebaker engine.Engine may need rebuilt. Body has rust in typical areas and a few small dents, but nothing too serious. As far as I know, itwas bought new in the southeast, and has been here ever since. The truck is titled as a 1964, but based on the VIN number, I am almost certain that it is a 1962 model, so that's how I listed it. I'm sure if so desired, itwould be aneasy title revision.Theclear title isin my name, and will include a bill of sale to the buyer. The tires are in pretty good shape and are on original Studebaker truck rims, and the truck will roll freelyin neutral. Aside from the down payment, the balance of payment would berequired within 7 business days. I can hold the truck here for up to 21 days after auction end. I have this truck listed also locally, and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
