Car description |

Talk about rare and unique! No one else at Cars and Coffee will have one of these!
Body super straight! 259 Studebaker V8 engine and Overdrive 3 speed manual transmission. Spark plugs were pulled, Marvel Mystery Oil added to cylinders, and engine will turn over by hand (not stuck or frozen).
I have not tried to start. Probably will need rebuilding.
Floors are rusty and will need to be replaced. Rockers are rusty. Bottoms of all 4 doors are rusty and have holes.Top of car is great, solid, mostly rust free, and straight. Bottom few inches not so much. Floor pans were fixed back in the 80's, but the rust gremlins have come back to haunt this treasure, and full floors will need to be replaced. They are available!
90% of chrome and stainless trim are present, as well as most of the interior (pulled out of the car), including both front and rear bench seats! Also included original radio! All 4 wheels roll, but all 4 tires are flat. Car will need to be towed or trailered.
The Studebaker club is very active and a great resource for parts!
This awesome wagon has been sitting in a field in South Carolina for the past 12 years, and has been off the road for 20 years.
I was going to make a Hot Rod Street Rod Wagon out of it, but I am loosing my storage and garage facility, so she must be sold.
Some people say it looks similar to a Chevy, but less gaudy.
Comes with Bill of Sale - I bought it without a title and will be selling it that way. It came from South Carolina where I'm told they did not title cars of this vintage.
Unfortunately it has to go because I am loosing my storage garage.
No Reserve Auction - Bid to win!
I will be happy to answer any questions and take pictures of any specific areas.
$500 deposit by paypal due within 24 hours of auction close.Car must be fully paid for before pickup, and be picked up within 7 days of auction close. What you see is what you get. There are a lot of small trim items that are included, but I cannot guarantee every piece of everything is there.
