Beautiful '1931 Studebaker Commander '70. Older restoration of this 1st. time winner. Tan Mohair interior is in nice condition. Headliner has 2 small holes but are unnoticeable. Interior lamp works as it should. Carpeting is good without any wear or stains. Dash and garnish molding have the original graining. All glass is new and front windshield has in and out adjustment with hand crank. Rear view mirror has rare Studebaker electric clock. All gauges work except the gas gauge. Horn, head lights, parking lights,Trippe lights and brake light work. Brakes are new. This automobile rides on oak, wooden Artillery Wheels and were restored in Amishville Pa.. Tires are Bedford Cord 700-19" wide white walls and are in good condition. All chromium plating is beautiful triple plate. Engine runs strong and does not smoke or burn oil. Indications are that the engine may have been rebuilt. Advance and retard lever is broken and is adjusted with a 5/16" open end wrench. I have the replacement lever that can be installed. Transmission is synchromesh 2nd and 3rd gear with free wheeling. I never used the free wheeling feature and shifts perfectly. Clutch works smoothly. Appointment necessary to view this automobile.
