Car description

Overall a very solid truck (as compared to ones I see listed here and elsewhere) that runs, drives, and stops (brakes will need some attention I think it may just need bled really good). Mileage shows 09890 but I have no idea what actual mileage is and will say it is not correct but I also doubt the truck has over 100k on it.
Truck currently has the original flat 6 engine and 3 on the tree transmission. Motor runs very good but has some oil leaks and will need the carburetor rebuilt. I just put a new water pump on it and a new oil line that runs to oil pressure gage. Truck has 35-40 psi of oil pressure at idle according to gage.

I have completely rewired the truck and converted to 12v using a Ford alternator/voltage regulator setup. The headlights, high beams, brake lights, and turn signals all work properly. I am apologizing in advance for the horrible turn signal switch shown in the pics as I didn't realize how cheap it was till I got it out of the box and couldn't put the guts in the original switch. I will include both old turn signal switches with the truck. Wiring has not been prettied up yet.
The trucks roof and hood as well as the inside of the bed have no dents or dings as well as the fenders and doors (except where mentioned above). The bottoms of the doors have surface rust but no rot and close very nice. Had 2 dents on the drivers side of the cab but I have hammered them out. The tailgate has a very slight bow but nothing that cant be fixed.
The transmission shifts good and I have not tested the overdrive due to the wiring being so bad when I bought the truck. Now that 12v the overdrive solenoid will need to be replaced and the Studebaker forum should be able to help with that. The switch that attaches to the gas pedal to engage/disengage the O/D will need replaced. The other O/D electrical parts should be ok.
Truck is pretty straight and solid with the following exceptions:-The front 1/3 of each rocker has some rust on the inner and outer. This is the worst rust on the truck and will be pretty easy to repair as patch panels readily available.-the lower door skin on the drivers door will need replaced and again patch panels available.-2 small spots on the front passenger side floor and one 1/4" spot on the floor area near the cab corner.-The passenger side rear fender has had a half assed repair attempted and may need to be addressed.-the drivers side rear fender and panel next to it are not straight. The fender can be straightened with heat and hammer/dolly work. The flat panel on the front bedside could be saved but a replacement is available and inexpensive (also could make one pretty easy). It could be saved to preserve the patina if you would want.
A few other things. The truck will need a new radiator or the current one repaired as it leaks. The gas tank has been cleaned out and does not leak but the pickup tube inside is blocked. The ammeter doesn't work as well as the temp gage. Speedo not working as well. The door glass on both sides needs replaced as well as the window channels and door seals. Front as rear glass appears in good shape. A previous owner redrilled to fit 5x4.5 so (Ford/Mopar) wheels could be installed. Front and side hood scripts are missing. Headliner is gone. Seat is in decent shape. Blower motor is missing. Vacuum wiper operation is unknown (probably not working). Will need the hard oil line fitting that attaches to the flexible oil pressure line replaced (works now but I wouldn't trust it) and is an inexpensive part. The ignition switch needs replaced. The exhaust manifold will need some attention as the heat riser valve is stuck and the bolts holding it are broke off it is currently epoxied on the edges to eliminate a huge exhaust leak (repairing or removing the heat riser will fix it).
Please see the attached pics and link to the video of the engine running. I can provide additional/info pictures if needed.
$500 non refundable deposit required within 24 hours of auction close and balance (cashiers check or cash) due at time of pickup. I will not load the truck. Buyer responsible for shipping. I will be gone for business on 4-9 thru 4-11 but other than that pickup is available anytime other than the dates mentioned.
