on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The is a lovely example of a 64 Studebaker wagon that
been in Az pretty much its whole life. It took Arizona and mother nature 53 yrs to get this
patina look that is getting more popular by the day. Everyone can have a nicely restored
whatever, but drive something like this to the next car event or show and the crowd will
navigate your way right away. Of course you would want to Resto-Mod or Ratrod parts of
it, like the suspension and drivetrain. Whats great about this car is: Its a factory V8 car,
original paint (or whats left of it), very rust and rot free for a 53 yr old car. fold down back seat,
and ultra rare Sliding Roof option !! All the glass is good and the body is really straight.
LOTS of surface rust as you can see and minor rot to a few spots on the floor from the inside
out. Some on the Dr side rocker too. But look close at the pics, its more of a restorable survivor
then you might expect, with a REALLY LOW reserve. Some stuff missing off the motor
But chances are you would want to rebuild the engine anyways OR even better,
swap in a 5.0, Coyote or LS Motor
and OD trans.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.
DRIVETRAIN: factory V8 mostly there, but missing some pulleys up front
and radiator I know for sure. Trans and rearend there and original.
Perfect for a modern swap with a cool old look or Restomod.
Im sure the original V8 in there is rebuildable if you wanted to.
Carb and some front pulley stuff missing.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior of this car is pretty well
worn out and probably the first thing you would want to repair. Restore the
interior and take care of all the mechanics and drive it that way !
The floors are very solid, and the interior is very complete, but pretty
much needs everthing redone vinyl, plastic related. All the glass is good.
All the chrome etc inside is in really nice shape...dirty, but not hammered
or missing.
EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, but this is a 80%
rot FREE AZ desert survivor. LOTS of Az Patina and surface rust, yes.
Windows roll up and down, doors work
fine too. Actual rot is almost non existent on the body. A little along the
rocker and a few spots on the floor.
Leave the body and paint the way it is, polish the trim up and fix the rest!
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see .. but old.
It Im sure
will need some work soon like bushings etc.
Car rolls and steers, but no brakes. We also took the driveshaft out.
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
There you have it, probably The BEST represented Wagons on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
