This elegant 1955 Studebaker Conestoga is the recipient of a nearly 70K, year long, omprehensive restoration and modification project done by Larry's Street Rods in Bellingham Washington. (Have receipts) This all original steel Studebaker features54' front fenders, ood, nd grill so you get the more attractive 54' split gill with the 55' curved windshield. Laser straight body with all new chrome, lass, nd stunning two tone paint.
This is a frame off restoration. The entire frame was blasted, traightened, nd treated for corossion resistance.
Fitted with a Phantom Auto Works front end with power rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes. 9 inch Ford rear end with new springs, way bar and perches.
a fresh 350 Chevrolet built to L48 specifications with upgrades of Edelbrock intake manifold, arburetor, nd Mallory ignition system. It runs smooth and strong on regular gas. The turbo 350 transmission is also completely rebuilt and has a Hurst shifter.
Inside the entire interior is done in period correct rolled and tucked leatherette. All new headliner and carpets as well. Classic Industries guages, enwood stereo, ll new wiring package, new heater core, new Ididit tilt steering column, okar pedals and even a new windshield wiper motor. Virtually no detail overlooked or unattended to. This car has just 2100 miles since completion and any/all bugs are worked out. It runs smooth, eliably, nd can be safely driven anywhere.
