This is a nicely kept 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT. A California car,it's always been garaged, ell maintained, nd never driven in snow. It's has no rust and the underneath is very clean. It doesn't leak any fluids, oesn't smoke, o exhaust leaks, nd stops better than any drum brake car I've driven. There are no rattles or shaking, ven at 70 MPH.It still retains its original 289 Studebaker full-flow engine, ated to a 4-speed sychromesh transmission, ower steering and Carter 4-BBL carburetor - cruises nicely down the highway. The interior upholstery, ash, auges headliner, hrome and stainless are in excellent condition. Tires are fairly new Michelins. Brakes are new. Electrical works. Radio does not work. Haven't looked at it, xcept I did notice there's no speaker in the dash. The tachometer doesn't work either, ut I am trying to get an NOS one from a Studebaker guy - I should know in a couple of days. This car tends to get a LOT of attention - be prepared to spend an hour extra at least whenever you stop somewhere! If you have any questions, eel free to contact me (Dave) at 702-292-1201. Inspections are welcome anytime during the auction. Thanks for looking!
