NOTE: I originally bought this car from Gulf Coast Motorworks in Florida https://www.gulfcoastmotorworks.com/vehicle-details/1965-hi-tech-motorsports-shelby-cobra-427-s-c-convertible-0387700c637f44e0bb21db4dc1cc5b93for $80,599 in October 2017 and had the car shipped to my home in Bel Air, California. One year later I decided to upgrade the motor and hired Dralle Racing LLC headquartered at the Willow Springs Racetrack (one of thepre-eminent cobra shops in Southern California) and paid them $17,733.08 for a brand new motor and paid V's Auto Repair & Performance, Inc. in Orange, CA $6,642.85 to tune it.
After installing the new motor and getting it tuned, THIS CAR RUNS STRONG AND IS A BEAST! It has less than 1,000 miles on it after the engine build. I bought this car and paid $80K because based upon my research, Hi-Tech Motorsports' Cobras are virtually identically to the original 1965 Shelby Cobras and the two are practically impossible to tell apart.
I have over $107,000 invested in this car and have all receipts and documentation. I am in no rush to sell this and don't need the money. PRICE IS FIRM AT $75,000.
EBAY currently has a Shelby CSX 4000Continuation Cobra for sale for $260,000 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Shelby-Cobra/233401489682?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160727114228%26meid%3D83805974e51b44fc9f2a9841ccd69d04%26pid%3D100290%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D202917167042%26itm%3D233401489682%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2060778&_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507)
WHY PAY $260,000 WHEN YOU CAN HAVETHE EXACT SAME CAR FOR $75,000?
