Jet Black Rolling Chassis with white racing stripe. Silver Ceramic Coated Headers Stainless Steel Side Pipes Polished Stainless Steel Header
Professionally built 427 Cobra. Tremec suspension, Ford SVO 514 Crate motor
This is a truly a one-of-a-kind car.
The engine is a 514 CI 500+ hp Ford H.O. SVO roller crate engine bored out to generate over 500+ hp. This setup is lighter than the original 427 side-oiler without sacrificing significant performance.
The dashboard is completely "correct" and has a full complement of the proper Smith's gauges, including the authentic original "backward" speedometer. In the interest of full disclosure, there is some minor bodywork to be done to the driver side door that was damaged recently backing out of the garage.
There are absolutely no title, registration or smog issues.
History:
I purchased the constructed car in 2014 from Vanguard Motor Sales for $62,000. When I purchased the car had 2,500 miles on it today the car has 4,910 miles on it. Vanguard purchased the constructed car from a private seller, who had the car assembled. He purchased the chassis from Dynamic Motorsports for $33,620 in May 2000. He then shipped it to Alternative Performance who bought the engine and transmission from Competition Motor Sports for $17,000 in 2000.
