427 Cobra Replica
This car is a custom built Cobra on a competition chassis and with a fiberglass body. It is a one-owner/builder (amassing 3 miles!) and has was built for both performance and safety in mind! It was constructed to set the "world record" in a "one-mile" event. The owner was a friend of mine and suffered from cancer during the completion of this build many years ago. He was only able to make three "one-mile" passes - total!.
There is so much to this build it cannot be fully detailed within this space...I encourage anyone interested in this car to contact me via messagingor call me directly at the number listed below. The car has been registered in Georgia and is street legal with functioning head lights, turn-signals, brake lights and hazards.
The car has a custom built (Kaase Race Engines) 600 ci all aluminum Kaase/Boss big-block running through a preparedTKO600 (Kaase's shop) and a Ford 12" spool rear-end! The Boss heads have been ported by Engine Master Champion Jon Kaase and include the best-of-the-best. It is a solid-roller cam/lifters (Jesel) and is not for the faint of heart. The side-pipes and headers were fabricated on-car and in-house at Kaase' shop in Georgia! The engine has (short list) a: Bryant Crank, Diamond Pistons, Carrillo Rods, Titanium Valves, Raised intake ports, Custom Oil pan (by Kaase), O2 sensors on both banks, and much, much more. The engine made 1,130 hp on Kaase's engine dyno (crank hp).
The chassis is set-up for safety! Twin fire-bottles plumbed for the driver and engine compartmentsare active and ready. Harnesses for both driver and passenger along with proper, full containmentseats by Kirkey. Integrateddoor bars (again, for safety) mean both doors are "fixed" but easy to access...surprisingly so! A legal battery cockpit mounted battery cut-off switch is active and installed. Two-sets of side pipes are included: 1) Open exhaust; and 2) Side exhaust with mufflers. Spares include brakes, wheels, pressure plate and disc; and hood.
This is a one-of-a-kind build; there is not another one like! Two fuel Cell systems are included: 1) a 5-Gallon (installed) cell; and 2) a Fuel Safe 30-Gallon system (with necessary plumbing) including (new/never used) bladder and foam! Inspections are welcomed and encouraged; my contact information is listed below to arrange.
Available separately:A brand new Kaase 521 TWM (ITB) Kaase built engine is also available for purchase. I have pictured it along with the hard-top in the pictures above. It too has never been run and is built around a Ford Motorsports iron block; Kaase Port Matched Super-Cobra Jet heads and ITB intake manifold; and T&D aluminum shaft-mounted roller rockers.
