1966 Ford Shelby Cobra reproduction. Vin# svmxx5288 the title reflects actual mileage at 3,332. This vehicle is being sold on a true no reserve auction. Low feedback bids will be removed. Please be sure that you have the necessary funds available before you bid! I've driven this beautiful car about 40 miles today so that I can give you a good description of the cars current condition. We just had the car cleaned and serviced. The car starts right... up easily, and runs and drives. This is an older reproduction car, with extremely low mileage. It's not perfect but it is a very nice driver quality car. I believe the engine is a Ford 289 the engine runs good and does not smoke. I did not get any #s from the block so I'm not 100% sure but it looks like a 289 to me. This is just my opinion so please look at the pictures and decide for yourself what engine it is. The carburetor is a new holly 750 double pumper. The spark plugs and wires are also new. The oil has been changed. The car has been buffed and cleaned. The brakes have been checked and are working properly. The brake fluid has been flushed, the brakes pads and shoes are in great shape like new. The fuel tank was drained and new fuel has been put in. The clutch is a bit hard to push down, also it chatters a little during engagement. The clutch does not slip at all. The fuel gauge is not accurate. The tachometer is not accurate either. All other gauges indicate correctly. There is a tiny water pump leak that I spotted while taking pictures under the car, just a drip every now and then. It doesn't leak when it's warmed up, just when it's cold. The windshield wipers are slow and the wiper blades are old. The undercarriage is dry. There is a bit of spider cracking in the paint, only in a few places and it's not very noticeable but it is there. I took pictures of those areas. There are tiny scratches and paint chips, but not many. The lower part of the front bumper has been scraped, likely from loading on a shipping truck. There are pictures of the scrape. There are some tiny bubbles forming in the paint, each is smaller than 1/4 of an inch. Only a few of those. Most lights work, left turn signal does not. There are no loose front end components and the car drives straight. The tires need balancing, they shake at highway speed. The rear shocks should be rebuilt or replaced. I saw evidence of seeping from them. The car drives well overall and a little money spent to correct these small issues would make this car a gem! The vehicle is located on a farm in a garage near the Hartford county and Baltimore county line in Maryland zip code 21087. This car Is titled in my company name as shown on the actual title pictured. It is a clean title. All proceeds will be transferred to the family of my late great friend and investor who holds financial interest in this vehicle and many other classic and collectible cars.
