He was a retired mechanic who made this build his full time job / project. Great attention to detail was taken during the build. The kit was ordered from Factory Five on 05/21/2014 and received approximately 8 weeks later. Brand New Ford Coyote 5.0L V8 Crate Engine and control kit was ordered from Ford Racing Parts on 04/10/2014 and received about 1 week later. A new Canton (15-736) oil pan was installed to allow the engine to fit in this application. Under the hood sits its New 5.0 Liter Ford Coyote V8 Crate engine tied to a high performance Ford C4 automatic transmission modified with manual reverse shift valve body and 2800 Stall torque convertor. Transferring the power to the pavement is a Ford 8.8 rear differential with a gear ratio of 4:11 and it is Posi. The body work and paint was done professionally by Southwestern Paint and finished in the color of "Electric Blue" This cobra is a blast to drive! The crate engine is putting out 430 horse power, and the car only weighs around 2,300 lbs so you can imagine the fun with this power to weight ratio. This amazing Cobra can be yours, call us today!
