1966 American Ford Build Shelby Cobra. We believe car to be an early 80's build. Restored about 7-8 years ago. Ferrari red paint job with black Cobra Racing wheels. New BFG tires just put on. Ford AC 289 V8 with what we were told when I bought it is paired with a turbo 400 Transmission. The car gets up and goes. Automatic tranny. Runs like a top with new plugs, Holley Carburetor, newer battery, complete tune up recently done. I've owned it for about 4 years. Car is fast, reliable, and fun to drive. This is not the cheaper Jag build, this was professional build we believe completed at an American Ford factory in LA. I have taken it on 200 mile trips and it has never overheated, nor left me stranded, ever. Saddened to have to see it go but currently in a financial rut and can no longer afford to keep it. Paint was professionally done and it shows. Car is a show stopper and could be taken to car shows. If you are not a fan of attention this is NOT the car for you. Everyone stops to ask about the car and to take photos. This is one of the cleanest replicas on eBay. Clean CA Title in hand and car is smog exempt and titled as a 1966 Shelby Cobra so you will never have any problems with the DMV. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction should it sell outside of eBay.
