The convertible top is power operated and tunes are provided courtesy of a nice factory AM/FM/CD stereo system. The GT is powered by a 4.6L SOHC V8 that produces 260 BHP @5250 RPM and 302 lb/ft of torque. The power is delivered through a five-speed manual gearbox to a factory differential. The chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes. Front suspension is MacPherson strut w/coil springs on lower arms and a stabilizer bar. The rear suspension is a live axle w/coil springs. GTs are also equipped wit a horizontal axle damper and rear stabilizer bar.
