I have for sale a fully restored 1967 Lime Green Gold Shelby GT-500. The restoration was just completed by Hullco Garage in Layton New Jersey. All attention to details and the history of this extraordinary vehicle WERE followed closely.
This Shelby originally had the factory installed 428 PI engine but it was replaced by the 2nd owner with a 427 in the early 1970s. That engine was recently rebuilt by Survival Motor Sports located in Michigan.
"Dyno video of factory style 427 Ford with a 428 crank - really popular combo back in the day. This one has the new Survival heads, original Shelby 2x4 intake, original BC/BD 710 cfm carbs, and a fairly mild 282S Comp solid flat tappet cam. After some tweaking and carb efforts it eventually made a peak of 482 horsepower at about 5700 and made 516 pounds of torque - running with 10.5:1 compression."
It has a 4-speed Manual transmission
This 67 Shelby “just turned 50” on June 1, 2017. It is in the Shelby registry.
The odometer says 79,400 miles however only about 50 milessince the restoration.
Vehicle was originally equipped with the following features:- Deluxe Wheels (Aluminum 10-Spoke )- Shoulder Harness- Extra Cooling Package- Courtesy Light Group- Sport Deck Rear Seat- Power Disc Brakes- Power Steering- Interior Decor Group- Tachometer and Trip Odometer
