This Newly built Cobra Replica, with less than 200 'shake down' miles since completion, is finished in deep Red with Gold Racing Stripes and a fabulous Beige Interior.
The powerful 5.0L V8 Engine is from the horsepower geeks at Roush Engineering and includes 770 CFM Holley carburetor, MSD distributor with wires and billet looms, aluminum heads, Edelbrock air gap manifold, hydraulic roller cam, roller rockers, nodular iron crank, forged rods, forged pistons, SFI flywheel and 8 quart oil pan.
Engine is machined, balanced, assembled and dyno tested.
The aluminum radiator is a triple pass unit with an electrical fan which gives excellent cooling.
Tremac T5 5-speed transmission.
The rear end is a 9" Ford with open center section.
Factory built rectangular structural steel tube frame and body shell from Antique & Collectible Auto (A&CA).
The high-performance suspension includes fully adjustable coilover shocks all around, triangulated 4 link rear suspension and tubular front control arms all of which provide a comfortable ride as well as handling.
The cowl has been insulated and covered with stainless steel panels for heat reduction inside the cockpit.
Ceramic coated headers, sidepipes are high heat treated and have stainless steel shields.
The car is also equipped with a stainless steel roll bar and period correct wheels.
It was built for safety first, then performance and ease of maintenance.
The safety features include a rare collapsible stainless steel steering column.
The car has 4-wheel disc brakes all around. The front disc brake rotors are cross drilled and slotted for continued stopping power.
The steering wheel is a race style removable wheel.
