This is my 1967 Shelby GT 350 #0025. I have owned her for close to 25 years. Mustangs/Shelbys/Cobras have been a passion of mine all my life and I have built several over the years. Non have received the attention to detail and craftsmanship as this beautiful and unique 1967 Shelby GT 350. I guess you would call her a Pro Street/Pro Touring/Restomod/Hot Rod. I have bought and sold many vehicles on eBay over the years (I'm proud of my 100% positive feedback) and I've seen the term "one of a kind" or "unique" tossed around quite a bit to describe various cars. However I believe the term fits this beautiful Shelby perfectly. I honestly don't think another one like it exists anywhere! She is a honest to goodness, enuine, ocumented, helby GT 350. She is NOT and I repeat NOT, clone, ribute or replica. She is the genuine article. She carries her original Ford VIN tag as well as her Shelby tag which is #0025. I've been told by SAAC that only about 50 of the early cars came with both VIN tags as Shelby did not want to confuse the DMV by producing a car with two tags. I have a signed letter of confirmation from the Shelby American Automobile Club as well as a copy of the original delivery invoice. She also appears in the Shelby World registry with myself being the current owner of record. Before I get the purists upset with me, et me say that when I brought her home in 1992 she was in very sad shape. Not much more than a rusted hunk of metal. My friends kidded me that I had bought a VIN tag and a roof and that is not far from the truth. Unfortunately over the years the Shelby had seen more than her share of salt on the roads, other nature and mods by the previous owner that had really taken a toll on her. I decided to rebuild her as a Pro Street/touring car with an emphasis on drive ability, ow maintenance and maximum fun factor. My goal was to retain her classic looks but completely rebuil, e-engineer and modernise everything under the surface. What I finished with some 20 years later is the stunning, un to drive and well sorted jaw dropper you see here. There are a lot of details to relate on this build and I know I'm leaving some things out so please, f you are genuinely interested, ive me a call at 517-627-5145. I'll be happy to share additional information with you. BODY: All the rusted metal was cut out, hich was just about everything. Then she was media blasted and painted inside and out with a premium metal etching primer. I brought her home and began this major labor of love project that took me nearly 20 years to complete. All the sheet metal used to bring the car back is either NOS Ford panels, uch as the quarters, ront fenders, nd rear valance or super clean and original OEM such as the doors, nd rocker panels. Most of the original Shelby fiberglass was pretty well trashed except the trunk lid which is original to the car. The remaining fiberglass are all Tony Branda pieces which are far better quality than the original panels. The body was then professionally painted in the correct Wimbledon white with Guardsman blue stripes as she appears in the pictures. CHASSIS: The frame is a full S&W Race Cars tube chassis with a 10 point NHRA cage. There are QA1 coil over shocks and springs all around which allow for a fully adjustable ride height as well as 4 wheel Willwood disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. The ride is very solid, traight and comfortable. The rear is a 4-link, ully gusseted, arrowed 9" Ford with a pan hard bar, etroit locker, :30 gears and 40 spline axles. MOTOR AND DRIVE TRAIN: The original small block is long gone and so in keeping with the Pro Street/touring build up, opted for something a bit bigger. She now sports a balanced 514 cu. in. Keith Craft Big block Ford stroker with Edelbrock aluminum heads, ntake and a 1,000 cfm Holley carb. Full MSD electronic ignition for worry free cruising. She has a hydraulic cam and the C/R is 10.5 to 1. She is happy on pump premium. The motor made 600 hp and 600 tq on the dyno and is extremely reliable and low maintenance. The exhaust exits through custom bent full length plasma coated headers and a 3" Flowmaster exhaust. She sounds like a beast but the motor is not that radical and was built for great torque, ow maintenance and reliability. The transmission is a Lentech AOD set up to handle 850+ hp. It has a manual valve body and an electronic overdrive that when activated allows the RPMs to drop nicely and the motor to just settles in and cruises going down the highway. With the 4:30 gears and the tall MTs out back she is very street able and has excellent road manners. INTERIOR: The complete full interior is another one of the highlights of the car. Comfortable but firm Flofit seats. Blue racing harnesses and a Shelby signature series gauge cluster housed in brushed aluminum with matching dash and door inserts. She has power windows which make cruising a breeze. Professionally stitched and installed premium black carpet finish off the beautiful interior. The back seat has been removed and is full of wheel tubs and a roll cage. MISCL. She has been completely rewired with an premium quality EZ Wire, ully fused kit and comes with the complete wiring schematic showing all the easily accesable fuses/circuits in the car. The battery is mounted in the trunk and she has two cut off switches. One is mounted in the drivers kick panel for easy access and the other is an NHRA approved cut off switch in the trunk. Off course all the headlights, rake lights, nd turn signals are operational. The sound system is 514 cubic inches of Big block Ford exiting through 3" side exhausts and makes some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear! Because this Shelby was intended as a spring, ummer, all cruiser there is not heater. There are also no wipers. I keep Rain-X on the windshield and the water just beads off. I will include the wiper motor and place it in the trunk along with the other accessories that come with the car. As an added bonus, ncluded with the Shelby, s an item signed and personalized by the man himself, arroll Shelby. I've included a picture of the original passenger sun visor. This item were signed and personalized with the #25 in my presence at a SAAC club meet at Road America in 1997 and will be included in the sale. Again, know there are many details on this spectacular build that I have not mentioned so please feel free to call me at my Michigan home at 517 627-5145. Thank you for looking at '67 Shelby GT 350 #0025. I have well over 100K into building her and about 20 years labor. I have several Mustangs/Shelbys/Cobras in my collection and I am not able to spend as much time as I would like with each one. She needs a new home with someone who will give her the attention she deserves. She is going to make someone very happy and I have set a very reasonable reserve. Please let me know if you have any questions.I am not able to include the You Tube video link. However if you search you tube and put in Ray's '67 Shelby GT 350 you will see a test drive of the Shelby. Thank you, Ray Hilton
