1985 Saab 900S Notchback

1985 Saab 900S Notchback. 5 Speed Manual. Runs well, Cold Air (converted to R134a), Hot Heat, Rust Free, Passes Smog.

Just serviced at J & B Imports (Saab Specialist) in Orange CA on 12/21/2020: Oil Changed, Coolant Flushed, Brake Fluid Flushed, New Air Filter Installed, Rebuilt AC Compressor installed and charged. Brake pads measured 7 mm all around, Front Tires @ 6/32, Rear Tires @ 4/32. Passed California Smog Check April 2020. CA Registration valid thru May 2021. New battery and aftermarket bluetooth enabled CD Player installed September 2020.

Functional odometer currently reads 340k miles, full service history dating back to 2001 included.

Rare Two-Door Notchback body style Saab 900 only imported into the USA for 1985 and 1986 model years.

Known Issues:

Slow Power Steering Fluid Leak

Manual Sunroof inoperable (off tracks)

Tachometer does not work

Starts Hard When Cold, No issues when warmed up

Car runs very poorly with less than a half tank of fuel. Both fuel pumps have been replaced within the last three years, as long as it is above half a tank it runs perfectly.

Original ignition cylinder failed, previous owner installed a secondary one to start car. Two sets of keys included.

Minor cracking on dashboard (currently under cover)

Previously repainted with some overspray
