Car description |

For sale I have a pretty nice Saab 900 16v turbo with automatic transmission.Excellent interior for a 1985 Saab. Leather in great shape.
Repainted silver by a previous owner.Blizzak/snow tires currently on the rims=50% tread. One extra full size wheel as spare.
The really good:-Really valuable set of Shelby for SAAB wheels (sell for $800)-New battery-Leather has no cracks or rips. Carpets door trim etc. are nice.-No leaks of oil or other fluids at all. = engine bay really clean and dry-No rainwater leaks or wet floors.-Absolutely no rust.-Recently painted silver.-Steering and suspension is tight-The interesting (by design) 3 speed automatic Shifts solidly-The engine starts easily-It runs well with decent power.-Cruises at 60,70 mph for long periods no problem-Doesn't overheat or run hot (needle stays in middle-low of range).-Got ~23mpg on a long highway trip recently-Has power sunroof option-Has power windows, they both work well.-Blower strong, quiet and works as it should, and heat control works properly.-The hood opens backwards, of course.
The imperfect-No radio.-No headliner. I have purchased matching color vinyl material for roof and vinyl adhesive. Message me if you are interested in making anoffer and want this done prior to sale.-Small amount of oil-type smoke. I measured that every 1,000 miles it needs between 1/2 qt. and a 1 qt.-Power sunroof is disconnected at switch. I haven't figured it out.-A previous owner was sort of race-car-izingit and put shorter springs or clamped them or something. It rides a little low and stiff in the front compared to what I think is normal for a 900. It is pretty nice steering around turns though.-Original AC is there but I didn't try to charge it.
The owner previous to the person I bought it from was issued a "Reconstructed" Michigan title for the car, so says the car history. I have a properly obtained clear MA title for the car, and I don't believe the car has ever been in an accident (it sure doesn't look it). Ebaywon't allow me to list the car as having a clear title, because of this. Nonetheless, you'll receive a clear MA title with the car.
