This original, unmolested SAAB has been garaged most of it's life. The car's repairs are documented. I bought the car from the second owner. She drove the car cross -country about 10 years ago from San Francisco. I bought the car 7 years ago with 160,000 miles.. It now has 202,000 and it is driven regularly. Only synthetic oil has been used since new. It has many new parts including a brand new Sachs clutch complete with both clutch and brake master's cylinder. It has 2 new Michelin tires in front and 2 new Continental tires in back. I have over two thousand dollars in bills over the last year. It has a kenwood cd player with 4 new speakers. The car runs very strong and the transmission is smooth, quiet and precise. My mechanic just adjusted the linkage and it shifts absolutely perfectly. I would drive this car anywhere without hesitation. The car neither burns engine oil nor leaks engine oil. That said, it is not perfect. The AC never worked and never looked into a repair -- the car is white and has a sunroof so it does not get too uncomfortable in the summer. There is a broad dent on the passenger side quater panel (in photo). The headliner needs the usual adhesive backing to the roof. The power steering unit has a small leak (I top-off the fluid every 4 or 5 months. The interior door panels are showing their age. In short, the interior could be refreshed and I will leave that to the new owner. To sum-up, this is a rust free, solid, 3 owner Saab 900 classic that spent most of it's life in California. It needs some cosmetics but the car is a keeper, and, again, I would drive it anywhere. If you live near NYC, kindly message me and I will be happy to go with you on a test drive.
