Car description |
---|
1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Long Wheel Base car without driver's partition. This is a factory extended vehicle; designed to give the most comfort for passengers in the rear.
Clean Texas title.
Cranks but doesn't start. It's not getting spark at the distributor. I've tried my hand at working on it, but the electrical system on these cars is beyond my ability.
The windows go up and down slowly; I presume due to the battery drain without the car running. I don't know if the sunroof works.
Otherwise, in very good condition for its age. A perfect project for a LS swap if you wanted it for a wedding service; as, despite being 42 years old, it still has class. The stock transmission is a GM TH400; used under license, making it a very receptive platform for engine swaps.
There are some tears in the seats, but all the wood is in excellent condition.
All missing trim is accounted for; in the trunk.
Here are two walkarounds:

I got it from a shop whose owner had a bill for roughly $8k in brake work prior to him coming to pick up the car; when it didn't run, he said he wasn't paying and abandoned the car. I purchased it for $4k at that time; roughly 3 years ago. The hydraulic fluid in the brake reservoiris nice and clear.
A spare hood, front doors, trunk lid, and most trim pieces (headlight bezels, tail lights, fog lights, etc.) are available for a little extra.
