Car description

Coachbuilder Mann Egerton - enclosed limousine with 7 seats - 6-cylinder GM in-line engine - automatic - Dutch registration - RHD

The chassis of this Rolls Royce PII was manufactured on 23-8-1934. In consultation with Mrs. McMullem, coachbuilder Mann Egerton constructed the chassis of this car into an enclosed 7-seat limousine, after which it was sold to Lady Stewart Clark in 1935, who had the car in her possession until 1949. After 14 years of loyal service, she sold her Rolls Royce to Edward Knox, who was in the funeral business and had the car’s body amended by Aple and Saunders into a 7-person support car. In 1969, Edward Knox sold the car to Mr. Brand in the Netherlands. The car purchased by Jacobus Straver as a wedding car in 1971. Many bridal couples have taken a seat in this beautiful Rolls Royce on the best day of their lives. To ensure the reliability of the car, it was fitted with a 6-cylinder GM in-line engine with an automatic transmission. These adjustment ensure a carefree drive. The car’s original engine is no longer present. The car looks neat, but is not perfect. There are some tears in the paintwork here and there and leather interior is dried.
