Car description

1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Dropheadcoachbuilt by
H.J.Mulliner, Park Ward Ltd.
A total of 49 design number 2045 convertibles were built, making her a very rare car indeed. She was sold by Beverly Hills Rolls-Royce to Debbie Reynold's husband for her enjoyment on September 22, 1965. On May 31, 1967 she was sold to Lucille Ball's husband, Gary Morton, and was returned to Beverly Hills Rolls-Royce for a repaint and color change to cascade white which Ms. Ball insisted on.
In January, 1997 a cosmetic restoration was performed with a further freshening and mechanical service performed by a quality Rolls-Royce specialist in 2015. We obtained "Lucy" from a collector who had cherished her for 14 years. She is in Pristine condition with perfectly straight bodywork and panel fit. Her chrome is unmarked, her top excellent, her leather showes patina but no wear or cracking, her carpet unmarked, and her interior wood is just magnificent. Her doors fit perfectly and close with the expected "click". Power windows are quick and smooth in operation.
Driving "Lucy" is a combination of sensory inputs. The classic stance and feel of a pre-war Rolls-Royce is not lost in Lucy, but she exhibits the power and handling of a modern car with excellent braking as well. She will drive comfortably at freeway speeds in total quiet.
Hagerty Valuation shows her currently at $726,000 including the additional 10% for A/C in # 2 Excellent Condition. Celebrity cars often bring in excess of book value, as evidenced by the recent sale of the Porsche collection of Jerry Seinfeld.
