1981 Silver Spirit A True Time Capsule

Offered here is a true timecapsule. This 1981 Rolls Royce has traveled just 11,000 miles in it's 34 years. This car is an untouched original down to it's original Michelin XVS tyres. Finished in a lovely silver with red interior and black piping it even has it's original lamb's wool mats over the Wilton wool carpet.There are very few flaws in the paint and even less in the Connolly leather interior. This car was sold new at the local Rolls Royce dealer to a doctor who used the car sparingly before her passing. It's passed through just two other local owners who used it gently before I acquired the car. I planned to drive this car daily but it's just too clean and original for me to feel comfortable doing so. Everything on the car works as it should except for the interior lights that enjoy staying on. This issue will be repaired before the auction is over. The car starts at the first touch of the key and runs and shifts just as smoothly as a Rolls should. The steering and brakes are spot on and have no issues. The hydraulics are working perfectly and the system has never been contaminated with any incorrect fluid. The underside of this car looks just a new and clean as the top. The 411 cubic inch engine starts, dles, nd runs with the precision of a Swiss watch and the GM Turbo 400 transmission shifts flawlessly. There's enough torque available that any speed desired is attained with just a press on the accelerator, o downshifting required. All factory books, anuals, nd tools are included and in their correct places. This car has never been smoked in! Please keep in mind that this is a 34 year old original car and not perfect. The car books for $28,000 but the reserve is substantially less. Here's a chance to drive the pinnacle of the automobile world for less than a new Chevy.
