1952 MGTD Replica, Convertible, Black, 2 Door, 4 Cylinder

As the original owner. I have created a binder documenting the car's construction and history. The car was created during the period from 1984-1989 as a joint project with a professional car building company and myself. The donor car was a 1969 VW Beetle. The only part of the donor car that was used was the pan. which was inspected and prepped. It was totally rust free. and remains so. All else was brand new upon assembly; engine. transaxle. body. interior. suspension. etc. The car has always been kept garaged and under cover . It has never been driven in the rain. It was not built to be a show car. but has been in local car shows. usually winning an award. It is an eye-catcher. with frequent requests to have photos made next to it. It is a fabulous. top down on a sunny day. cruising around. with my Sheltie in the passenger seat. car! It is the nicest MGTD replica. or similar. I have seen on EBAY. or locally. It was not built for speed. but is very peppy. It is mechanically excellent. and stunning in appearance. The car has a full top. with removable side curtains. a tonneau cover. and a boot for the top. when the top is down. The top is easy and quick to take down and put up. The car has a heater. but no A/C. The radio is a basic AM/FM. but who listens to the radio with the throaty custom exhaust. I would love to answer your questions.
