Car description

Description:This 1 of 1 Cobra is a beautiful car that has never been licensed, titled or even had any contact with water. Although it does not run and has one quarter sized smudge (on the passenger side rear fender by the indicator light), it is estimated to be 85% done. It was briefly at Shelby America while it was being built by Shelby's company out of Las Vegas. After that it was worked on by Tom Barnard, a respected former employee of Shelby America who continues to work on Shelby's Cars. Tom is known in the industry as one of the best mechanics and racers of Cobra cars. It is based off of a 1965 Cobra from Johnex Motorsport Inc. The reason the car is one of a kind is due to the suspension which is all NASCAR, everything is built to perform to NASCAR specifications. The brakes and shocks are what nascar uses. When I dreamed up this car I spared no money to make it the best possible car for me. Not only did I want the power and the handling to be outstanding, I wanted the looks to be just as breathtaking. The transmission is a Turamac 5 Speed and the Motor is a Dry-sump. The Dry-sump tank can be seen in the trunk of the car. The motor is a 429 small block, professionally built, balanced and blueprinted to the best possibly quality, no money was spared. It has a fuel injection mechanical system that can be seen in the pictures. Although this is an amazing car, it still has a little way to go to be finished. The tires and the rims are not the right size for this car (Tom put these on so that we would have a way of transporting it easily). The exhaust needs to be finished as well as a few interior and exterior accessories. I have put $129,000.00 into this car. Due to health reasons I need to sell it. It is so close to being done I want someone else to get the satisfaction of hearing it run for the first time.
