1967 Triumph Spitfire replica. Body and suspension are from a 1967 Triumph Spitfire, but actually, the drive line (engine and transmission ) and all running gear (wiring / electronics, you name it ) are from a 1994 Geo Tracker with a 1.6 liter engine transmission (5 speed overdrive ). No Lucas electronics ! A custom drive shaft was made by a custom pro shop to fit the car. The car comes with both a hard top and new soft top. Car features a 1968 Corvette hood scoop to clear the bigger engine, new windshield, new rocker panels, new ECM, new EGR new catalytic converter, new brakes all around, new clutch, new radiator and new fuel tank, new brake lines and fuel lines. The fuel tank had to be modified to use the Geo Tracker electronic fuel pump. The car seats feature the Triumph frame, however, the seats were redone using the Geo Tracker's seat foam and covers. However, you can purchase Triumph Spitfire seat covers online to restore the seats to OEM standards. The car is really fun to drive, and has more horsepower than the original car. You can really have fun at car shows, because it is a custom car with newer running gear but looks like the original.
