Classic Motor Carriages 1929 Mercedes Benz Gazelle Replica kit. This kit utilizes any year Chevy Chevette. I bought it from a donation store and was told a man bought it in the late 80's and never started building it. So many of the boxes I opened for the first time. All parts were packed very well from the factory and have no corrosion. It was stored in a dry location with no moisture or rodent damage. The builders manual is complete and has step-by-step instructions for disassembling a Chevette and assembling the Gazelle. The frame is under the body inside the crate. It accepts the Chevette front and rear end. the 1. 6L engine and transmission. steering column. brake pedal assembly. wiring harness. and other small parts from the Chevette. The body is fiberglass and gel-coated tan. The fenders are also fiberglass and gel-coated brown. No painting is required. only waxing the gel-coat. All of the vinyl (interior and top) is in excellent pliable condition. The foam is discolored but springy and spongy. There is a list of parts that I have marked (in one of the pictures) with a blue dot next to parts not included in the kit. Some decorative parts were optional and the original buyer opted not to purchase them. These parts are available at mgmagicclassicmotorparts. The crate dimensions are 148" long x 59" wide x 37" tall. I don't know the weight but I would estimate it at 1500 lbs for the whole kit. I carried it on my dual axle car trailer and it felt like carrying a very small car. If you purchase it and need transportation I can deliver it on my trailer for 75 cents/mi up to 500 miles from Monterey. CA. If you use UShip or another company I can load the crate on the trailer that they use. If you've ever dreamed of building this car this is a unique opportunity in that this is an unstarted kit. Thanks for looking.
