The most original and the lowest mileage 1 owner Renault Dauphine "Gordini" in the United States.
The High performance Gordini package consisted of 4 wheel disc brakes, 4 speed transmission and almost 50% more power from the 845cc 4 cylinder engine and each one was tuned by Gordini and his team, keep in mind less than 5% of these cars were the high performance models tuned by Gordini!
This Dauphine has been in a Florida garage most of its life, with only 27,364 original miles (only around 500 miles per year!) and in exceptional show condition!
The mostly original Kilimanjaro white paint has been electronically metered for authenticity.
Cranberry red bucket seat with white stitching interior looks original and shows almost no wear.
Optional Panasonic period correct removable AM/FM/MB stereo system is super cool and looks right at home.
The trunk compartment has the original mat, washer fluid bottle and brake fluid reservoir, hidden spare tire and jack included. Original style 4 speed close ratio transaxle works great especially with the power over top of the driving wheels.
As these cars continue to rise in collector car status this will be the one they use to restore the others back to factory specs. Wearing almost all its original paint, original interior, excellent undercarriage (see pics) and working ancillaries.
